Ikorodu Local Government has commenced applications for the 2026 Bursary Scheme, approved by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Prince Adedayo Abdul-Lateef Ladega. This initiative aims to promote access to higher education, encourage academic excellence, and provide financial support to deserving students of Ikorodu origin currently enrolled in accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

To be eligible, applicants must be bona fide indigenes of Ikorodu Local Government, be currently enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria, and possess valid proof of studentship.

Applicants are required to upload several documents, including a recent passport photograph, birth certificate, letter of admission, current school fees receipt, identification letter from the Oba Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Certificate of Indigeneship from Ikorodu Local Government, school identity card, and statement of last level result.

The application period is open from June 22, 2026, to June 28, 2026. Eligible applicants should complete the online application form via the provided link. All applications will be screened and verified by the Bursary Committee, and submission of false information or forged documents will result in automatic disqualification.
