Candidates awaiting the results of their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) can apply for the FUTME screening exercise and are advised to apply as soon as the results of the examinations are released.
The university's minimum UTME score for certain courses is as follows:
Candidates with lower scores in these courses may apply for FUTME screening into other courses of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.

Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnic for Engineering programmes and Lower Credit for other programmes.

Direct entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered. These candidates should send their transcripts via the email address admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before 31st July, 2026, failing which their application for admission will not be considered.
