Federal University of Lafia notice:
The university community and the general public are invited to the 47th Inaugural Lecture Series, scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2026. This invitation was extended by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, and the entire university community.
The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Prof. Sunday Abraham Musa, a Professor of Human Anatomy (Neuroanatomy and Comparative Anatomy) in the Department of Human Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Federal University of Lafia.
The lecture, titled "When Neurons Speak and Networks Fail: Unravelling the Mysteries of Brain Function and Neurodegeneration," aims to delve into the scientific advances in understanding the human brain, neurological functions, and the causes of neurodegenerative diseases.
The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida. The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, will serve as the Co-Chairman.
