Imo State University, Owerri, has announced the commencement of registration for the 2026/2027 Direct Entry screening exercise, starting on Friday, 14th August, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri, as their first choice.
• Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as their first choice but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply, provided they change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri, on the JAMB website before the close of the DIRECT ENTRY application process.
• Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree, 'A' Level, or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects.
• Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.
• Candidates who fail to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.

HOW TO APPLY

• Visit the University website at https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng and click on 2026/2027 Direct Entry Application.
• Enter correctly your JAMB Reg. Number to check for eligibility. If eligible, proceed to make payment at IMSU Microfinance Bank.
• Enter correctly your JAMB Reg. Number Only as the Invoice Number, make payment of N2000 Naira, and generate receipt.
• Go back to https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng after 24 hours of completing payment, click on 2026/2027 Direct Entry Application again to complete the Application form.
• Present the Acknowledgement Slip at the DIRECT ENTRY screening venue on the date of the screening/examination.

APTITUTE TEST

The specific date and time for individual candidate's screening examination will be communicated in due course.

The closing date for this exercise is Tuesday, 25th August, 2026.
