Applicants who were initially shortlisted for admission to the University of Port Harcourt for the 2026/2027 academic year but did not receive offers for their preferred courses are invited to submit applications for supplementary admission into alternative programmes.

• Applicants need at least 160 marks in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and a post‑UTME score of no less than 112, together with the appropriate subject combination.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 30 September 2026.
• Applicants must have the required five O‑level credit passes as stipulated by the university’s entry criteria before applying for supplementary admission.
• Prospective students should access the university portal at https://utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng/welcome_putme_supple.php to begin the supplementary admission application process.

Candidates are informed that online processing of Supplementary Admission Forms shall end on Friday, 28th August, 2026.

Successful applicants will need to select the Transfer Approval option on the JAMB CAPS portal and confirm the department change to allow the admission procedure to continue.

Applicants must upload their O‑Level results to JAMB; failure to do so will result in ineligibility for admission.

All prospective students are urged to monitor their admission status regularly on the JAMB CAPS website and to accept any admission offers promptly to complete the enrollment process.
