Recall that Management had, through earlier circulars, informed the Polytechnic Community of its decision to issue certificates to graduates on the day of the 2026 Convocation Ceremony.
Moreover, at its 8‑hour meeting on Thursday, 30 July 2026, Management resolved that the 2026 Convocation will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026, pending approval by the Academic Board and the Governing Council. Consequently, every graduating student is required to remit the standard certificate processing fee of Twenty‑Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) exclusively at the Polytechnic Microfinance Bank.
Management wishes to emphasize that, in line with the administrative best practices championed by the Rector and her team, certificates will be handed out to eligible graduates on the Convocation day itself.
Graduates are therefore urged to settle all required payments before the ceremony to ensure smooth collection of their certificates. Proof of payment will be treated as a compulsory condition for participation in the Convocation and for receiving the certificate.
Additionally, Management has approved that any graduate who does not retrieve the certificate within one (1) year after graduation will be charged an annual storage fee, the amount of which will be set by Management and will continue to accrue each year until the certificate is collected.
These officials are asked to circulate this memorandum widely so that every affected graduate is fully informed and can comply.
