The Governing Council of the Federal University Otuoke met for its 28th regular session on Monday, 16 February 2026, and approved the issuance of an advertisement to recruit staff across several university departments and faculties.

The recruitment drive aims to fill the current vacancies in line with the approved quota for the 2025 recruitment exercise, while also strengthening the institution’s academic and administrative manpower.
