Fountain University, located in Osogbo, has released the timetable for assigning dormitory bed spaces for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to a notice signed by the University Registrar, Mr. Sheriff Adenekan, the allocation will be carried out exclusively through an online balloting system on the student portal. No manual reservations or direct assignments will be accepted.

FEMALE STUDENTS

• Tuesday, September 29, 2026
• Thursday, October 1, 2026
• Saturday, October 3, 2026

MALE STUDENTS

• Monday, September 28, 2026
• Wednesday, September 30, 2026
• Friday, October 2, 2026
• Sunday, October 4, 2026

Students who intend to join the balloting must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• Payment of at least 20 % of the approved tuition fees for the 2026/2027 session
• Settlement of the designated accommodation charge for the chosen hall of residence
• Clearance of any outstanding balances from earlier sessions, including any other approved fees

Admission into the university’s halls of residence is scheduled to begin on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

New occupants are expected to move into their allocated rooms without delay. Any room that stays vacant for more than 72 hours after the start of residence will be considered forfeited and may be re‑assigned to other eligible students.

At the point of entry, students must present the following documents:

• Accommodation Allocation Slip
• Student Affairs Admission Slip
• Proof of tuition fee payment

Students, parents and guardians are urged to note the balloting dates, meet the eligibility requirements and ensure all payments and paperwork are completed well before the scheduled exercise.
