• The university has not empowered any person or group to request money, advertise job openings, grant admissions, or carry out official business through personal social‑media accounts or private WhatsApp numbers.

Formal Action Taken:

The university administration has lodged a formal complaint with the relevant law‑enforcement authorities, urging an immediate probe and prosecution of those responsible for the fraud.

The public is strongly urged to remain vigilant, avoid any interaction, financial transaction or communication with the owners of the mentioned Facebook profile and WhatsApp number. Bayero University, Kano disclaims any liability for monetary losses or other damages resulting from dealings with these impostors.
