Applications are invited for Faculty of Science Scholarship at Monash University. This scholarship is available for international students to pursue full-time research at an HDR level (MSc, MPhil and PhD).
Scholarship is awarded within the Faculty of Science, scholarship is provided to cover the tuition fees set by Monash and payable by the awardee for each year of the course. The scholarship also meets the cost of standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the awardee.
Eligibility: The Faculty of Science Dean’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarship is offered for full-time research at an HDR level (MSc, MPhil and PhD). In addition, awards will only be available to international students (including those holding a New Zealand permanent residence visa) who:
- Are commencing their postgraduate research studies in the Faculty of Science at Monash University;
- Have enrolled in a higher degree by research program (MSc, MPhil and PhD);
- Hold H1 or H1 equivalent (H1E) academic qualifications as per H1 equivalence assessment procedures
- For entry to Monash University, applicants must meet the minimum English language requirements. They can do this by meeting one of the qualifications listed. Some courses have higher English language requirements than those listed here. Check the course requirements in Find a course.Time limit: If applicant’s secondary schooling was not entirely in English, they must have received any result or qualification, within two years of their intended course commencement at Monash. If the qualification is a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) they must start their course within five years.
