This was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Musbau Adewumi Akanji while briefing newsmen concerning the 26th Convocation ceremony and 35th Founder’s Day Celebration.
According to him, 2,788 will receive first degrees, 637 will be awarded Masters degrees, 35 will bag PhDs while another 274 will be awarded Postgraduate Diplomas.
In the fist degree category, the VC revealed that 790 graduating students obtained Second Class Upper Division.
70 graduating students attained Pass degree. However, the University will no longer award Pass degrees to students.
