Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana matriculation ceremony date and school fees payment deadline for the 2016/2017 academic session newly admitted students (both ND 1 and HND 1).
This is to inform all the fresh students (ND1 and HND1) of the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, that the academic board at its extra ordinary meeting held on the 2 march, 2017 approved that the 2017 matriculation ceremony will take place on Thursday, 16 march, 2017 at the polytechnic’s multi-purpose centre.
All fresh students (regular and part-time) admitted in the 2016/2017 academic session must participate in the matriculation ceremony.
By the provision of the polytechnic academic regulations, a fresh student becomes bona-fide student of Akanu ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana with all the rights and priviledges of studenship only if he fulfills the following mandatory requirements:
a. The student must be duly registered;
b. The student must pay the prescribed school fees in full;
c. The student must participate in the matriculation ceremony.
During the 295th regular meeting held recently, management decided that any fresh student who did not pay school fees before Wednesday, 15 march, 2017 will not be issued matriculation gown and will not be allowed to participate in the 2017 matriculation ceremony.
Any fresh student who did not matriculate is deemed not to be a bona-fide student of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana.
