The application form for the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2024/2025 academic year is now available.

Eligibility for AAUA Post-UTME Screening

  • Applicants must have selected Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and achieved a score of 160 or higher.
  • Direct Entry candidates must also have chosen AAUA as their first choice institution.
  • Candidates who took the 2024/2025 UTME, scored 160 or above, and want to change their first choice to AAUA are eligible to apply.
  • Specific requirements: Applicants for LAW must have scored at least 250 in the UTME, while those applying for Mass Communication need a minimum score of 200.
  • Candidates who initially did not select AAUA as their first choice must change their choice to AAUA on JAMB CAPS before the registration period ends.

Special Notices for Prospective Applicants

  • Ensure that you provide a valid and active email address and phone number without any “DO NOT DISTURB” settings.
  • The university is not liable for any communication issues resulting from invalid email addresses or non-functional phone numbers.
  • Candidates must be at least sixteen years old by the start of the 2024/2025 academic session to be eligible.

How to Apply for AAUA Post-UTME Screening

Online registration for the screening exercise begins on Monday, 12th August 2024.

  1. Visit the AAUA Screening Portal: Access the AAUA Screening Portal.
  2. Create an Account:
    • Use your valid JAMB registration number and email address to create an account.
  3. Confirm Your Email Address:
    • Click on the verification link sent to your email. Check your spam folder if the email is not in your inbox.
  4. Log in and Make Payment:
    • Pay a total of ₦5,000.00 (₦2,000 for POST-UTME REGISTRATION and ₦3,000 for PORTAL ACCESS FEE) through E-tranzact.
  5. Complete the Bio-data Form:
    • Accurately enter your personal information.
  6. Print Out the Bio-data Slip:
    • Save a copy of this slip for your records.

General Instructions for All Candidates

  • Upload all O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two sittings is permitted for O’Level qualifications.
  • AAUA accepts O’Level results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • For Direct Entry, AAUA accepts qualifications such as a 1st Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points).
  • Candidates awaiting O’Level results may still apply but must upload their results on the university portal and JAMB CAPS once they are available.
  • Review admission requirements for both O’Level and UTME subject combinations specific to your chosen courses.
  • Ensure that your UTME subject combinations align with the course requirements; make necessary changes on JAMB CAPS if needed.
  • Verify course requirements and select the correct subject combinations, including credit passes in English and Mathematics.
  • Complete the online form accurately to avoid disqualification due to misrepresentation.
  • Print proof of transaction completion for your records.
  • Participation in the online screening exercise is mandatory for admission consideration.
