The Faculty of Computing Students Association (FOCOSA) at the University of Uyo has officially announced the start of faculty dues payment for all students in the Faculty of Computing. In a recent notice, the Directorate of Information directed students to proceed to the UNIUYO Microfinance Bank, located at either the Town Campus or the Permanent Site, to make their payments. To facilitate the transaction, the association has provided specific bank account details.
Approved Payment Details are as follows: · Account Name: Faculty of Computing Students Association Account Number: 0140416076 Amount: ₦1,200 · Account Name: Faculty of Computing Account Number: 0140615645 Amount: ₦800
A key change in the payment process is the introduction of a new receipt policy. Going forward, only official receipts issued by the Financial Secretary or the Treasurer will be accepted as valid proof of payment for course form documentation. This means that bank teller slips alone will no longer be considered valid for this purpose.
To ensure a smooth payment and documentation process, students are advised to follow these steps: 1. Visit any branch of the UNIUYO Microfinance Bank, fill out a bank teller with the provided account details, and complete the payment. 2. After successful payment, proceed to the Faculty Secretariat to have the payment acknowledged and to collect the official dues receipt.
It's worth noting that converting a bank teller to an official receipt at the Secretariat will attract a processing fee of ₦500, which should be paid to the Financial Secretary or the Treasurer. For any further inquiries or clarification, students can contact 08081249179 or 08068858767.
All students of the faculty are strongly advised to comply with the directive and complete their payments within the stipulated period to avoid any inconvenience during their course registration processes.
