The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Management has sent out a reminder to all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session, urging them to promptly upload the required documents on the university's portal and complete the verification, screening, and registration process.
According to an internal memo from the Admissions Office, a substantial number of candidates who have accepted their admission offers have yet to upload the necessary documents for verification and screening. As of the notice date, only 4,688 candidates have successfully completed the process.
The university has announced that the matriculation ceremony will take place soon, emphasizing that only candidates who have successfully generated their matriculation numbers will be recognized as bonafide students. Candidates who fail to generate a matriculation number before the ceremony will automatically forfeit their admission.
The Admissions Office has stressed that registration is compulsory, and no candidate will be assigned a matriculation number without completing the registration process. Therefore, all affected candidates are advised to upload their documents for verification and screening on the EKSU portal on or before Thursday, January 15, 2026.
