The Federal College of Horticulture, Dadin-Kowa, located in Gombe State, has officially released its academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session through its Academic Matters Division.

The first semester is set to commence with student registration from January 12th to January 30th, 2026, while lectures will begin on January 19th, 2026. Late registration has been scheduled for February 2nd to February 7th, 2026.

Departmental orientation for students will take place between February 9th and February 20th, 2026, followed by a general orientation on April 23rd and 24th, 2026. The matriculation ceremony is scheduled for April 25th, 2026.

Lectures for the first semester will conclude on April 30th, 2026, with a revision week from May 4th to May 8th, 2026. First semester examinations are set to take place from May 11th to May 23rd, 2026, followed by a semester break from May 25th to June 5th, 2026.

The second semester will begin with registration from June 8th to June 26th, 2026, and lectures will commence on June 8th, 2026. The consideration of first semester results is scheduled for June 24th, 2026.

Lectures for the second semester will end on August 28th, 2026, followed by a revision period from August 31st to September 4th, 2026. Second semester examinations are scheduled to take place between September 7th and September 19th, 2026.

The Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is slated to begin on September 21st, 2026, and the consideration of second semester results will take place on November 18th, 2026.
