The Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Students’ Union Government (SUG) has issued a crucial notice to all newly admitted students. The notice urges them to verify that the course offered by the university matches the one reflected on their JAMB CAPS portal.

In a statement by the Office of the Secretary General, the union advised students to ensure consistency between their admission course on the BUK portal and the JAMB CAPS. Any mismatch could lead to serious challenges in the future, including screening issues, NYSC mobilization problems, clearance complications, and potential admission irregularities.

The notice specifically directed students whose courses were changed by the university to visit the nearest accredited CBT centre immediately. They need to process a Change of Course on JAMB CAPS to reflect the exact course offered by the university and regularize their admission.

The Students’ Union Government emphasized that this directive is crucial to avoiding future academic and administrative difficulties. They urged students to treat the matter as urgent and share the information with fellow newly admitted students.
