Bayero University, Kano has commenced the online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The exercise will start on Monday, 2 March 2026. All newly admitted undergraduate students are required to follow the procedure for a successful screening process.
Step 1 involves clearing with JAMB by accepting the admission and printing the JAMB Admission Letter. Step 2 requires logging in to the screening portal via https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening. Candidates must then download the BUK Admission Letter, Undertaking Form, and University Health Services Registration Form.
The next step involves generating, downloading, and printing the BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF), which includes an Acceptance Fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) to be paid through the Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform. It is crucial for candidates to carefully follow the payment procedure, as the University will not be liable for any loss arising from incorrect data entry.
After payment, candidates must upload the required documents in JPG format, including the JAMB Result Slip, JAMB Admission Letter, O'Level Result, and A'Level Result for Direct Entry candidates. Any other relevant documents should also be uploaded. Candidates should note that uploaded documents may be rejected if they are unclear or do not meet the required standard.
The final step involves printing the Acknowledgement Slip, which contains further instructions for registration and documentation. All newly admitted students are advised to complete the screening process promptly and ensure full compliance with the guidelines. For inquiries or complaints, candidates can use the message box icon on the screening portal.
