The Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS), University of Uyo Chapter, has released an official notice regarding a fraudulent website circulating for departmental and faculty dues payment.

It has come to the attention of the Financial Secretary's Office that an unauthorized platform is posing as an official payment portal. As a result, students are warned that this platform has not been approved by the NACOS Executive body.

Students are strongly advised to refrain from making any payments through the unauthorized website or online platform currently being circulated.

To avoid complications, loss of funds, or issues with registration, the association has outlined the correct protocol: all payments must be made strictly at the designated Microfinance Bank. No online website is currently authorized for these transactions.

Students are urged to prioritize the security of their funds by following only the established official channels.
