The Kwara State University of Education has announced the commencement of its admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. According to the institution's Registrar, Mohammed Jimada Jibril, the university's portal will open for candidate registration on June 8, 2026.

The university has set a minimum UTME score requirement of 150. Candidates who reach this score line and meet the basic academic prerequisites are assured consideration for placement across its diverse array of technical, scientific, and arts education faculties.

Available Academic Programmes include 20 specialized degree programmes across various disciplines: Education, Business & Social Sciences, Science & Technical Education, and Arts & Humanities Education. Programmes include B.Sc.(Ed) Business Education, B.Ed. Entrepreneurship, B.Ed. Educational Technology, and more.

The notice notes that Direct Entry (DE) candidates are equally eligible to apply for any of the listed undergraduate programmes. Interested candidates must visit an accredited JAMB CBT Centre to select KWASUED as their institution of choice and ensure their O'Level results are successfully uploaded onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.
