Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University has commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. The online application portal will be open from 1st June, 2026, to 31st July, 2026. A non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000 is required.

The mode of screening will be strictly online, based on verified JAMB scores and O'Level results uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal. There are two categories for applicant eligibility: Change of Institution Candidates and First Choice Candidates.

Change of Institution Candidates who scored a minimum of 150 can apply for programmes requiring a 150 cut-off, provided they effect a change of institution to Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University on the JAMB CAPS portal. First Choice Candidates who selected the university as their first choice institution during the 2026 UTME registration can apply for high-demand programmes requiring a minimum JAMB score of 200 and above.

The university has categorized available programmes based on their minimum JAMB score requirements. Programmes requiring a minimum JAMB score of 150 include Faculty of Arts, Allied Health Sciences, Computing, Environmental Sciences, Science, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Programmes with higher score requirements include Medical Laboratory Science with a score of 200, Law and Nursing Science with a score of 210, and Medicine and Surgery with a score of 220.

To complete their application, eligible candidates should visit the official website, click on the registration link, fill out the application form, submit it, pay the non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 via Remita, and print out the final acknowledgement slip.
