The University of Ibadan admission portal will be open for post-UTME/Direct Entry registration from Monday, 22nd June, 2026, to Sunday, 19th July, 2026. To be eligible, candidates must have scored 200 or above in the 2026 UTME.

Candidates can log in to the Admission Portal using their JAMB registration number as their username and surname as their initial password. A portal access fee of N3,000.00 and screening fee of N2,000.00 should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL in favor of the University of Ibadan.

Payment options include card payment using an ATM card, bank transfer, or cash payment at a bank branch. Candidates are expected to print the payment success receipt.

The post-UTME examination will take place from Monday, 27th July, 2026, to Wednesday, 29th July, 2026. Candidates are advised to get the official UI Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to prepare adequately for the screening.

The examination date for each candidate will be communicated in due course. Candidates must provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers, as the University will not take responsibility for failure to get information due to invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.

Candidates under the age of 16 by 30 September 2025 will not be cleared for admission. Those seeking admission to the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must have five credits at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects. For other programs, candidates presenting two O/level results must have at least six credits in relevant subjects.

The University of Ibadan only accepts WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advance Level, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions for Direct Entry admission. Candidates should check the list of matriculating subjects accepted by the University and upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng for successful completion of online submissions.
