The Federal University of Technology, Minna has announced that its Registration/University's Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for the 2026/2027 academic session will commence on Monday, 15th June, 2026, and end midnight of Sunday, 9th August, 2026.
Candidates are advised to visit the FUT Minna website futminna.edu.ng for details on the procedure for online registration, requirements for the screening exercise, procedure for payment, and other general information. A non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000) only is to be paid through REMITA.
Only UTME and DE candidates who selected Federal University of Technology, Minna as their first choice are eligible for the screening exercise. UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 150, except for those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University website. All candidates must possess a minimum of five 'O' level credits including Mathematics and English Language in subjects relevant to their proposed courses at not more than two sittings.
UTME candidates that have met the minimum score of 150 and above, but do not have the UTME or O'level subjects combination for their chosen courses, are eligible to change to any other course whose requirements are met by the candidates. Candidates awaiting O'level results should upload them when they are available. It is essential that candidates ensure their 'O' level results are uploaded on the JAMB website – CAPS.
To apply, candidates should click on https://eportal.futminna.edu.ng/ePortal_V2/utme and follow the application guidelines. The steps include verifying eligibility and course requirements, initializing the application, generating a Remita invoice and paying, completing the online registration form, uploading O'Level results and documents, and finally reviewing and acknowledging the submission.
The application window is currently active and will close at midnight on Sunday, 9th August, 2026. Applicants are advised to submit their registration well before the deadline to avoid potential portal congestion. For all enquiries, candidates should contact infoupase@futminna.edu.ng or call 09039844724 and 09023418632.
