General entry requirements for National Diploma (ND) applicants include: Age: Minimum of 16 years at the time of application UTME: Minimum score of 100 in the 2026 JAMB examination O' Level: Minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings Science: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry Applied Sciences: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, chemistry, physics, and one Basic Science subject Social Sciences: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, and one of Economics, Commerce, or Marketing

For Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants: A relevant National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit from an NBTE-recognized institution Evidence of one year post-ND Industrial Work Experience (SIWES) A copy of the original JAMB Admission Letter for the ND programme

To apply, interested candidates who did not choose Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny as their first choice but scored 100+ in the 2026/2027 UTME should visit any JAMB CBT Centre or Cyber Café to effect a Change of Institution to Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, as their First Choice. Candidates must upload their O' Level results to the JAMB portal immediately. Failure to do so will disqualify the candidate from admission. Qualified candidates must visit the institution's website to fill the Application forms and upload all necessary documents.
