The Tai Solarin Federal University of Education has announced its 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission via UTME (100 level) and Direct Entry. This online screening exercise is mandatory for entry into the university.
Candidates who have chosen Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first choice of institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have scored a minimum of 160 are eligible to participate in the online admission screening exercise. Additionally, candidates must be at least 16 years old by October 1st, 2026.
Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) students who have completed their studies and wish to be considered for admission into the university must have chosen Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first choice of institution in the UTME and scored a minimum of 160. Direct Entry candidates, including those with JUPEB, who wish to be considered for admission, must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from JAMB and chosen Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first choice of institution.
The university has listed accredited programs available for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates can only apply for these listed courses, which include programs in the College of Humanities, College of Science and Information Technology, College of Social and Management Sciences, College of Specialized and Professional Education, College of Vocational and Technology Education, and College of Agriculture and Hospitality Management.
Direct Entry candidates are expected to submit a copy of their online admission screening report and notification of diploma or NCE result at the Admission Office. All candidates must possess five O'Level credits in relevant subjects and ensure they upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS before the closure of the admission screening exercise.
To apply, prospective candidates should visit the university portal and follow the online registration procedure. The registration period is from June 23rd to July 10th, 2026. Candidates should note that the screening of candidates will be based on a point grading system using UTME scores and SSCE grades in five best relevant subjects. Correspondences or complaints should be directed to the Admissions Officer or through the support system embedded in the portal.
