Adedeji Scholarship For University Of Ibadan Students 2027

The Greater Works Foundation has launched the application process for the Adedeji Scholarship Program, a fully funded opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Ibadan.

The program offers comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition and accommodation fees for students in the 100–300 level across select faculties. It aims to recognize and nurture students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to exploring diverse interests beyond their chosen fields of study.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Full tuition and accommodation fees for one academic session
  • Renewable for one additional academic session based on exceptional performance
  • Acceptance into the one-year ASP Scholars Fellowship, offering mentorship and professional development opportunities

Eligible Programs

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in the following faculties at the University of Ibadan:

  • Arts and Humanities
  • Economics
  • Social Sciences

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Adedeji Scholarship Program 2027, applicants must:

  • Be a registered student of the University of Ibadan
  • Be currently enrolled in 100–300 level
  • Demonstrate active engagement in meaningful enrichment activities within or outside campus
  • Be a student from the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences, or Arts

Required Application Documents

Applicants are required to prepare and submit the following documents:

  • Completed application form
  • Official academic transcript showing current GPA (or original JAMB result slip for current 100-level students)
  • Personal essay (maximum 250 words) addressing the prompt: Share how your curiosity, passion, or interests have led you to pursue meaningful endeavors that may or may not align directly with your course of study. How do you plan to use that perspective in shaping your path after your studies, and what role do you see your current education playing in that journey?
  • Supporting evidence to strengthen your application (e.g., certificates, letters of recommendation, portfolios)

2. Prepare all required documents in advance

3. Complete the online application form

4. Submit your application before the deadline
