The Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences (FUMHS) in Funtua, Katsina State, has announced that its 2026/2027 Post‑UTME online screening registration is now open for qualified applicants who wish to enroll in its various programmes.

The online portal will accept registrations from Wednesday, 30 September to Wednesday, 21 October 2026.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The screening is targeted at candidates who listed FUMHS Funtua as their first‑choice university in the 2026 UTME and who achieved at least the minimum UTME score required for their selected course.

HOW TO APPLY

Prospective students must complete the registration through the university’s official admission website: www.portal.fumhsf.edu.ng

• Create a personal account on the admission portal.
• Fill in the online screening form with accurate information.
• Produce a Remita invoice and settle the ₦2,000 screening fee either online or at an authorised bank branch.
• Attach all mandatory documents as instructed.
• Verify the entered details, submit the application and either print or save the acknowledgment/application slip.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must upload the following supporting papers:

• JAMB Result Slip
• O'Level Result (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB)
• Birth Certificate or a Declaration of Age

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The entire screening process will be conducted virtually; no in‑person screening will occur at this stage.

Candidates should ensure that the telephone numbers and email addresses they provide are active and functional throughout the registration period, and they must adhere to all directions displayed on the admission portal.

In addition, applicants are required to submit their O'Level results on both the University Admission Portal and the JAMB CAPS Portal.

All data entered during registration must be truthful, complete, and verifiable. The university has warned that any falsified or misleading information could result in immediate disqualification.

Registrations submitted after the deadline will not be entertained for the Post‑UTME screening.

FUMHS also clarified that taking part in the screening does not guarantee admission; final offers will depend on meeting all stipulated requirements, the availability of slots, and compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines.

Prospective students are urged to finish their registration within the allotted timeframe and to confirm that all required documents are correctly uploaded.
