The College of Education and Legal Studies (COELS) located in Nguru, Yobe State, has announced that the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registration exercise is now open.

A notice issued on September 28, 2026 confirms that the registration drive is currently being conducted at the college’s TRCN Desk Office.

Prospective candidates are advised to visit the College TRCN Desk Office in order to complete their registration formalities.

Eligible Applicants

The college specifies that only individuals possessing any of the following qualifications may register:

• Ph.D. in Education or a related field
• Master’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• PGDE Certificate holder
• PDE Certificate holder
• NCE Certificate holder
• NCE III student

Eligible candidates who wish to take part in the TRCN registration are urged to report to the College TRCN Desk Office for further processing.
