University of Ibadan is one of the top institutions in Nigeria.

Here is how to calculate your UI's call-up point / JAMB-POST-UTME aggregate score

1. This is how the University of Ibadan(UI) calculate their call-up point from O’level
   O-LEVEL
   A1 – 12points
   B2 – 10points
   B3 – 8points
   C4 – 6points
   C5 – 4points
   C6 – 2point
   Which is obtained from Your 5 relevant/compulsory subjects as related to your course.
2. This is how the University of Ibadan calculate their Call up point From JAMB:
   Simply divide your UTME score by a factor of 10. Which implies 400/10 = 40
3. To obtain the call up points, now add obtained O-level points above, to the JAMB points.
    
4. The result becomes you University of Ibadan POST-UTME call-up point.

Example:

Assuming I madeA1 in my 5 relevant subjects. When I multiply the individual A1 by 12 and sum them up, I would obtain 60 = (60/60).
If I made 235 in my UTME examination, that means, 235/10 which equals 23.5.
Lastly, I add my o'level figures to my UTME figures = my weighted UI call-up point. ie 60+23.5=83.5

This aggregate score is pretty high.

NOTE: to be considered for screening (in any course), your aggregate score must be greater than or equal to 50% (this applies to many other universities too).

Strive hard to get a 70 point mark for those going for highly competitive courses.
