The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has opened the application for its post-UTME screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieved a score of at least 160 are invited to apply for the screening.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the UNIPORT post-UTME, candidates must have chosen the university as their first choice in the 2024 UTME and obtained a minimum score of 160.

How to Apply

The registration period runs from Tuesday, 23rd July 2024, to Friday, 16th August 2024. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the University Website: Navigate to the UNIPORT Post-UTME Registration Page and follow the instructions provided.
2. Input UTME Details: Enter your UTME Registration Number and verify your preloaded UTME details.
3. Generate Remita Code: Pay the ₦2,000.00 fee using your MasterCard, Visa, or Verve Card. Alternatively, print the payment slip and pay at any bank that supports the Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, and UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
4. Obtain Remita Receipt: Receive a receipt showing an Access Code from the bank.
5. Login Again: Starting from Wednesday, 24th July 2024, log in using your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code.
6. Complete the Form: Fill out the online form. If you are awaiting O’Level results, indicate this on the form.
7. Submit and Print: Click the “submit” button and print the registration slip for the screening exercise.

Important Notes

• Inconsistency in Details: Ensure that names on your O’Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents match. Discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2024.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar gadgets are not permitted in the screening venue.
• Registration Period: Complete your registration within the specified period. The online registration link will be disabled at midnight on Friday, 16th August 2024.
• Physical Presence: Online registration is required; candidates do not need to be physically present on campus.
• Second Choice Candidates: Those who selected UNIPORT as their second choice must change it to their first choice in order to apply.
• O’Level Results: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible.
• Contact Details: Provide valid personal phone numbers and email addresses during registration.
• Screening Attendance: Attend the screening at the designated venues to avoid disqualification.
• Parents and Guardians: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on campus during the screening period.
