The Abia State University (ABSU) Post UTME/Direct Entry screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available.
This marks the beginning of the application period for students who wish to gain admission into ABSU.
Eligibility for the ABSU Post UTME
Candidates who selected Abia State University as either their first or second choice in the UTME, or those who did not initially select the university but now wish to, are eligible to apply.
Applicants must have achieved a UTME score of 140 or higher.
Additionally, candidates must have obtained the required five O' Level credit passes according to the university’s entry standards.
Direct Entry candidates are also eligible for application.
Application Process for ABSU Post UTME
To start the application, visit the ABSU Portal to generate an invoice.
Subsequently, make a payment of ₦2,000.00 at any of the following designated banks:
- ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
- Signature Bank
- Eco Bank Plc
- Zenith Bank Plc
- Fidelity Bank Plc
- Union Bank Plc
- UBA Plc
Alternatively, payment can be made using bank debit cards.
After payment, return to the ABSU portal and select the ABSU Aptitude Test option.
Complete the application form meticulously, ensuring all details are accurate.
Upload a clear passport photograph to prevent rejection of your application.
Once you have finished, download a copy of the completed form as proof of registration.
Important Considerations
Ensure all details entered during the application are correct to avoid future complications.
There is no requirement to upload a photograph or biometric data, as JAMB has already provided these.
Failure to register for the Post UTME screening will result in ineligibility for admission.
Certain groups, such as international students, inmates, and individuals who are blind or deaf, are exempt from this screening process.

The screening for all faculties, including Law and Agriculture, will be held at the main campus in Uturu, beginning at 10:00 am each day.
