Ahmadu Bello University's Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement Centre of Excellence has announced its 2026 Advanced Certificate Courses. The programme aims to strengthen professional capacity in procurement, environmental sustainability, and social development.

The courses, supported by the World Bank, will be conducted under Track B and target professionals in government institutions, development projects, and the private sector. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills for effective procurement management and sustainable development practices.

The Advanced Certificate Course in Procurement Management will be held at the Abuja Centre from 23 March to 10 April 2026. Additional courses in Sustainable Environmental Studies and Sustainable Social Development Studies will run between April and June 2026 in Abuja, Katsina, and Kano.

The three-week programme includes two weeks of classroom lectures and one week of industrial attachment, providing both theoretical and practical learning experiences. Public sector participants will attend tuition-free, while private sector participants will pay a participation fee of ₦50,000.

Prospective participants should complete the online application form and follow the instructions to finalize their registration. The training is open to various professionals, including accounting officers, chief executives, procurement practitioners, and project managers.
