The Development Bank of Nigeria has launched its BizAid "Reward 4 Learning" initiative, designed to incentivize professional development by offering rewards for completing courses under the DBN Entrepreneurship Training Programme.
This program aims to bridge the skills gap in the MSME sector by encouraging individuals to utilize the bank’s digital learning resources. By integrating financial rewards with educational milestones, the bank seeks to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
The program is open to a broad range of individuals, including existing entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, students, and freelancers. Specifically, the following groups are encouraged to participate: small and medium-scale business owners looking to scale their operations, individuals with a business idea who need the technical know-how to get started, university and polytechnic students interested in entrepreneurship, and self-employed individuals looking to formalize their business structures.
The "Reward 4 Learning" program offers two primary tiers of support for active participants: monthly cash rewards of ₦20,000 to 90 top-performing learners every month, and weekly data support of ₦2,000 to 300 learners. To participate and qualify, interested individuals must register or log in at the official portal: learning.devbankng.com. To qualify for the monthly ₦20,000, learners must complete the final exams of any course and achieve scores high enough to rank among the top 90 performers for that month. The weekly data rewards are distributed based on speed and completion, with the first 300 learners to complete a course each week automatically qualifying for the data support.
