Joseph Ayo Babalola University, a faith-based private university, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Registrar.
The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and the Head of the Registry, responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University. The Registrar also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.
The ideal candidate must possess vast knowledge of University administration, be transparent, resourceful, and professional. They must also be a Christian, preferably of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas denomination, with a proven record of visionary leadership, innovation, and excellent communication skills.

To apply, candidates must submit their application, curriculum vitae, and all other necessary credentials as attachments. The curriculum vitae should be well-arranged, including full name, post applied for, date of birth, local government area and state of origin, nationality, religion, permanent home address, and more.
Applicants must possess a good university degree, not below second-class lower division, from a recognized university, and a Master's degree in a relevant discipline. They must also have at least fifteen years of relevant post-graduation experience in university administration or a relevant institution, and not be older than 60 years of age as at the time of assumption of duty.
The application must include a candidate's statement of Vision and Mission for the University Registry for the next five years, in not more than 1,000 words. Referees should be contacted by each candidate to provide signed copies of their recommendation letter, attesting to the academic and managerial abilities as well as moral character of the candidate.
Candidates are requested to submit fifteen hard copies of their applications and credentials under confidential cover in a sealed envelope marked "Post of Registrar, JABU" to the Office of the Registrar, and the soft copy submitted to employment@jabu.edu.ng. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. The deadline for submission of the application is six weeks from the date of publication.
