Delta State University, Abraka students are informed that the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) have started an industrial action from May 1, 2026.
This development has affected certain services provided by these staff within the university.
The university management assures students that the Federal Government is engaging with the unions to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
This notice informs students and seeks their understanding and cooperation towards a prompt resolution of the industrial action.
Despite the strike, the academic calendar remains in force, and all students are expected to attend lectures and other academic activities as scheduled.
