The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results for 2026. Candidates who participated in the mop-up examination held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, can now check their results via the SMS method.

To check results using the shortcode method, candidates should create an SMS with the words "UTMERESULT" and send it to 55019 or 66019. It is essential to use the phone line used for UTME registration and have at least N50 airtime credit balance.

The release of the mop-up examination results marks the conclusion of the 2026 UTME exercise, paving the way for the next stage of the admission process. According to JAMB, with the successful conduct of the mop-up examination and the release of the results, the Board will proceed with the ranking of candidates.

JAMB also revealed that the printing of result slips required for admission processing is expected to begin before the end of the week. The Board appreciated candidates, parents, and other stakeholders for their patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout the examination period.
