University College Hospital, Ibadan, has officially commenced admission into the Perioperative Nursing School for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Qualified and interested registered nurses are invited to apply for this intensive one-year programme designed to train and equip nursing professionals to become certified Registered Perioperative Nurses.

Eligibility (Admission Requirements)

Prospective applicants must satisfy the following strict admission criteria:

• Professional Registration: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practice license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Academic Qualifications: Must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO/SSCE) or GCE O' Level (or equivalent) with at least five (5) credit passes in:
• English Language
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Note: These credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings of the same examination body.
• Professional Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of post-qualification experience working as a General Nurse.
• Release Approval: Must obtain official approval for one (1) full year of release from employers or other training schools.

• Make Payment: Visit the official UCH schools' portal at https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng and click the REMITA PAYMENT button to pay the application fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (₦25,000.00).
• Sign Up: Following successful payment, sign up on the portal using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), email, and password used during the payment transaction.
