Kel Armstrong Amobi, widely known as KAA, a prominent social media influencer and blogger, has extended a remarkable gesture by offering a university scholarship to the child of a stranger he encountered at a filling station. This act of generosity stemmed from the stranger's kindness and respect towards him.
Amobi recounted the incident, explaining how the stranger graciously allowed him to purchase fuel first by moving to the next pump in the queue. He was deeply impressed by the man's gesture and admired his composure despite facing mistreatment from the pump attendant.
Despite feeling uncomfortable with the attendant's behavior towards the man, Amobi was struck by the man's calmness and patience throughout the ordeal. He observed how the man, driving a modest 406 Peugeot, maintained his dignity amidst the situation.
Driven by admiration for the stranger's character, Amobi offered to pay for both his fuel and his own, totaling N47,000. However, when the attendant's POS machine malfunctioned, the man promptly paid the full amount in cash and trusted Amobi to transfer the money later.
Moved by the man's humility and financial struggles, Amobi decided to go a step further. Instead of reimbursing the exact amount, he transferred N100,000 to the man, knowing it would alleviate the burden of paying his child's school fees.
In a heart-warming turn of events, Amobi announced his plan to purchase 50 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for Nigerian students in the 2024 academic year. His motivation behind this initiative stems from his belief that education is the cornerstone of success.
