The University of Delta (UNIDEL) has released the Post-UTME screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Established by the Establishment Law of 2021, UNIDEL invites UTME candidates to apply for admission into its various programs. The computer-based screening exercise will take place from Wednesday, August 14, 2024, to Friday, August 16, 2024. Registration begins on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, and ends on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• UTME Candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2024 UTME conducted by JAMB.
• Direct Entry Candidates: Also eligible to apply.
• First Choice Institution: Must have chosen the University of Delta Agbor as their first choice or completed the change of institution process.
• Academic Requirements: Must have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects in SSCE, NECO, or GCE O/L examinations, taken in no more than two sittings.

Registration Instructions

To complete the registration form for the screening exercise, follow these steps:

1. Visit the UNIDEL Application Portal.
2. Click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left of the page.
3. Enter your surname, JAMB UTME registration number, and an active email address. Click ‘send credentials to email address.’ Your applicant ID and password will be sent to your email.
4. Open the email and click the confirmation link to display your login details. Click ‘login.’
5. Start the application process by clicking ‘Edit application record’ and provide all required information.
6. Print a copy of the completed form for future reference.

Payment Instructions

The screening fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira).

1. Visit the UNIDEL Login Portal.
2. Log in using your username and the password sent to your email.
3. Click ‘Edit application record’ to make payment.
4. Click ‘Add online payment ticket’ at the bottom of the page.
5. Use an ATM-enabled Verve or MasterCard from any commercial bank for Interswitch Payment.
6. Click on the Payment ID of the created ticket.
7. Click ‘CollegePAY’ at the top of your page to verify payment details and click ‘Submit’ to proceed.
8. Select your card type (Verve, Visa, or MasterCard) and enter your card details (card number, expiry date, CVV2, pin). Click ‘Pay.’
9. Once payment is validated, click ‘submit’ and print your application slip.

• Friday, August 16, 2024:

  • Faculties: Medicine, Basic Medical Sciences (Medical Lab, Public Health, Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Biochemistry, Radiography & Radiation Science)
  • Venue: Centre of Excellence in IT, University IT Complex
  • Time: 7:30 am

Note: Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

Requirements for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise

Candidates should bring the following to the screening venue:

• Print-out of evidence of payment.
• Print-out of JAMB UTME notification of result.
• Print-out of O/Level result(s).
• Print-out of the completed UNIDEL Post-UTME online registration form.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed in the screening hall:

• Bags
• Cellphones
• iPads
• Walkman
• Wristwatches
• Any other electronic gadgets and extraneous materials
