Please Note: Nigerian tertiary institutions don’t make use of any outside agent and will not make use of any in the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Aspirants are thereby advised to stay clear from such in processing their applications. Applications should be processed directly, following each guideline and instructions issued by the institution

Kwara State University (KWASU) has opened pre-admission screening registration for the 2024/2025 academic session. This opportunity is available to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who have chosen KWASU as their first-choice institution and have obtained five O'Level credits in relevant subjects. The registration process includes a non-refundable fee of N2,000. Detailed instructions for the application can be found on the university's portal. Admission will be granted based on the cut-off points and space availability. Providing fraudulent documents will result in disqualification and prosecution.

Kwara State University Post UTME Form

Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU), has initiated its admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session. This notice provides essential information for UTME and Direct Entry candidates interested in the Pre-Admission Screening Registration for 2024/2025.

KWASU Invites Two Categories of Candidates

KWASU welcomes two categories of applicants. The first includes candidates who selected KWASU as their institution of choice during their UTME registration. The second includes those who now wish to change their first choice to KWASU. Candidates in the latter category must make the necessary change of institution to KWASU via the JAMB portal before starting the Pre-Admission Screening Registration.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must have a minimum of five O’Level credits in relevant subjects, achieved in no more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting their O’Level results can apply but their admission will be pending until their results are released. Additionally, candidates must score at least 140 in the recent JAMB UTME to be eligible for the KWASU post-UTME screening exercise.

Registration/Screening Fees

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) as part of their application process.

2024/2025 Session Pre-Admission Screening Registration Procedure

For a seamless application process, candidates should follow these steps:

  2. Select the ‘Undergraduate’ link located at the top menu bar.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Continue.”
  4. Fill out the basic information page with valid contact details.
  5. Proceed to the payment review page and click “Make Payment.”
  6. Enter your debit card details (Mastercard, Visa, or Verve) and submit.
  7. Enter the OTP code sent to your phone to complete the payment.
  8. After successful payment, log into the portal using your JAMB registration number and surname.
  9. Click on “Login to dashboard” and complete your registration.

Make sure to print the completed registration form and payment receipt for future reference. If any network issues occur during payment, the process can be re-queried using the JAMB registration number and phone number.

Deadline

The registration deadline is August 25, 2024.

Additional Guidelines and Consequences for Non-Compliance

Admission to KWASU is based on meeting the University's UTME/DE cut-off points and the availability of spaces within the NUC-approved admission quota. The university strictly prohibits falsification of citizenship certificates or any other documents, which will lead to disqualification and possible prosecution.
