Lead City University (LCU) has opened applications for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. This guide provides detailed information on the application process, available courses, and admission requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for LCU’s Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• UTME Score: Candidates must have scored at least 140 in the 2024/2025 UTME.
• First Choice Institution: LCU must be selected as the first choice in the UTME. Those who initially chose another institution but wish to change to LCU can also apply.
• O’level Results: Applicants must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language, from GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, obtained in no more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting results are eligible to apply.
• Direct Entry Requirements: GCE ‘A’ Levels, IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, OND, University Diploma, or equivalent qualifications are required for Direct Entry applicants.

Candidates who did not originally choose LCU in their UTME application can still apply. Those without UTME scores can opt for the IJMB/JUPEB pre-degree programmes, which allow progression to 200 Level via Direct Entry upon successful completion.

How to Apply

To apply for Lead City University Post UTME/Direct Entry:

1. Create an Account: Register and validate your email address on the admission portal.
2. Complete the Form: Fill out the application form in four steps.
3. Submit the Form: Submit the form with a processing fee of N10,300.
4. Wait for Processing: Wait for your application to be processed.

Post UTME Screening

Screening Centres: Main Campus of Lead City University, Lagos Ibadan Toll Gate, Ibadan, and Surulere centre in Lagos.

Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 10 AM – 4 PM

Required Documents

• Printout of 2024 UTME Result Slip
• Four recent Passport Photographs
• Photocopies of Ordinary Level Result (if available)
• Photocopies of Birth Certificate
• Sponsorship Letter
• Photocopies of Sponsor’s Identity Card
• Reference Letter from a reputable organisation vouching for the candidate’s character
• Evidence of Payment (Bank Teller)

Transfer Students/Direct Entry Applicants: Must bring photocopies of Previous Admission Letter, JAMB Admission Letter, Official Transcript, Level Result, and Notification of Result (for Direct Entry Only).

After a successful application, candidates must pay an acceptance fee of N50,300 to secure admission.
