Screening Options Available

• Option A: Regular Students seeking admission through UTME (100 level) and Direct Entry.
• Option B: Regular Students with Entrepreneurship seeking admission through UTME (100 level only).

Eligibility Criteria for LASU Post UTME Screening

To be eligible for LASU's admission screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• First Choice Institution: LASU must be selected as the candidate's first choice in the 2024 UTME.
• Minimum Score: Candidates must have scored at least 195 in the UTME.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 1st October 2024.
• Pre-Degree Students: Those who completed LASU Pre-Degree Studies and selected LASU as their first choice in UTME with a score of 195 or above are eligible.

Candidates can apply for the same courses as above, except for those in the College of Medicine. This program also includes entrepreneurial certificate courses such as:

How to Apply for LASU Post UTME Screening

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Online Payment Registration:

   • Visit the LASU Website and navigate to ‘Student’ > ‘New Applicants.’
   • Choose the UTME/DE Screening option.
   • Login using your UTME Registration Number and Surname, then proceed to make the required payment for the Admission Screening Fee.
   • Complete the application and print the Temporary Self-Screening Report.

2. Online Self-Screening Form:

   • Return to the LASU Screening Platform and log in with your UTME details.
   • Fill in your personal details accurately.
   • Upload your UTME and O Level results.
   • Select your preferred course of study.

Screening Grading System

Candidates are evaluated based on a point grading system that considers both UTME scores and SSCE grades in the five most relevant subjects. The grading scale is:

• A1: 10 points
• B2: 9 points
• B3: 8 points
• C4: 7 points
• C5: 6 points
• C6: 5 points

The highest possible score is 50%.
