Enugu State University has reiterated its ban on reckless driving within the school premises, particularly after the completion of degree and final year State House of Assembly examinations, in line with the Enugu State Resolution.

The directive, as earlier communicated by the Honourable Commissioner for Education in a memo dated December 20th, 2024, to the Vice Chancellor, remains in force.

• Students are expected to comply with the directive to avoid drastic actions

The University Management has warned that any student found in breach of this directive shall face severe sanctions, including the seizure of their vehicle, which will only be released upon payment of a fine of five hundred thousand (N500,000) naira to the University coffers.

Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments/Units are directed to inform their final year students about this directive and ensure compliance.

The Chief Security Officer and other law enforcement agencies on campus are on high alert to maintain law and order within the University premises.

Students are advised to be guided accordingly and adhere to the rules to avoid any penalties.
