The Academic Board of Federal Poly Wannue has approved a policy on Deferment of Admission/Studies at its meeting held on 8th June, 2026.
To be eligible, candidates must have been offered provisional admission, accepted the offer, and been registered by the Academic Unit of the Polytechnic. They must submit a written application to the Registrar through their respective Head of Departments, stating reasons for deferment and attaching relevant documents to support the request.
Additionally, candidates must attach evidence of payment of school fees. The deferment is for an Academic Session. Candidates are expected to revalidate their admission on resumption and pay the applicable school fees.
All staff and students of the Polytechnic are requested to note this policy for their information and guidance.
