University of Ilorin Notice: Post-UTME/DE Registration Extension

The University of Ilorin has announced an extension of its registration period for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise. Initially set to conclude on Sunday, July 5th, 2026, the registration window will now remain open until Sunday, July 12th, 2026. This extension provides eligible candidates with additional time to complete their applications.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2026 UTME and chose the University of Ilorin as their first-choice institution are eligible.
• Qualified Direct Entry applicants are also invited to participate in the exercise.

Application Requirements

Applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. It is mandatory for candidates to ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS platform, as failure to do so will result in ineligibility for admission. Candidates awaiting results are allowed to apply but are advised to upload their results immediately upon release.

Eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration before the new deadline of Sunday, July 12th, 2026, to avoid any last-minute challenges.
