Crescent University, Abeokuta, has made an announcement regarding its upcoming Convocation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Due to a substantial increase in graduating students, the ceremony will be held over two days in October 2026. This decision was made known through a notice from the Office of the Registrar, dated 28 July 2026.
According to the university management, the first day of the convocation, Friday, 16 October 2026, will feature graduands from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, and the College of Environmental Sciences.
The day's events will include the university's convocation lecture.
The second day of the ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, 17 October 2026.
The programme will also include the conferment of honorary degrees, the hooding of PhD graduates, and the graduation of other postgraduate students.
The university has advised parents and guardians of final-year graduating students to take note of the revised schedule and make the necessary arrangements to attend the ceremony.
The management has stated that this new arrangement aims to ensure a well-organized and successful convocation for all graduates and their families.
