The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has re-appointed Professor Jayeola Olabisi as the Dean of the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies.
The decision to re-appoint Professor Olabisi, a member of the Department of Accounting, was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, following a recommendation from the College Board of COLENDS.
According to a letter signed by the University's Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, Professor Olabisi's new term will last for three years, starting from August 1, 2026, and ending on July 31, 2029.
The University's decision to re-appoint Professor Olabisi reflects its confidence in his ability to lead COLENDS, citing his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the College and the University at large.
The institution is optimistic that under Professor Olabisi's continued leadership, COLENDS will further strengthen its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. His tenure is also expected to support the University's vision of producing graduates who can compete globally and conduct research that impacts society.
The University Management has congratulated Professor Olabisi on his re-appointment and has wished him a successful and productive tenure ahead.
