The Gombe State University (GOMSU) has published its provisional admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. All applicants who took part in the admission screening exercise are invited to verify whether their names appear on the list of successful candidates.
The list has been made available online through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates should follow the steps below to confirm their admission status.
If an admission offer has been granted, the system will display your photograph along with a congratulatory message. Conversely, if no offer has been issued, you will receive a text stating “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Applicants who receive a positive result can either accept or decline the offer by sending the word ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
The acceptance window spans four weeks from the date of the notification. Those who do not have the registered phone number on file must visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their acceptance or rejection.
It is essential for candidates who have accepted their offer to print the admission letter promptly, as this document will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
Note for mobile users: The “Check Admission Status” feature may not appear on phones, showing only a welcome screen. To see the full page, switch to desktop mode—Chrome’s “Request desktop site” option works well for this purpose.
Congratulations to all students who have secured admission to GOMSU for the 2026/2027 session!
