Federal University Of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) 2024/2025 Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form Is Out

Please Note: Nigerian tertiary institutions don’t make use of any outside agent and will not make use of any in the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Aspirants are thereby advised to stay clear from such in processing their applications. Applications should be processed directly, following each guideline and instructions issued by the institution

The application form for the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) Post UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2024/2025 academic year is now open.

Registration for the University’s Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) will commence on Wednesday, 14th August 2024, and will close at midnight on Sunday, 13th October 2024.

Eligibility for FUTMINNA Post UTME Screening

  • UTME and Direct Entry candidates must have selected FUTMINNA as their first choice during the 2024 JAMB.
  • UTME candidates need to achieve the specified cut-off marks for their chosen programs.
  • Candidates must meet the correct UTME subject requirements for their courses as detailed in the 2024 JAMB Brochure.
  • Those who do not meet these requirements can opt for other courses where they fulfill the criteria.
  • All candidates must possess at least five 'O' Level credits, including Mathematics and English, relevant to their selected courses, achieved in no more than two sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates should have at least a Lower Credit in National Diploma or Higher National Diploma, or a Merit in NCE.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Make sure your O' Level results are uploaded on the JAMB website – CAPS.
  • Verify the specific subjects required for each course on the university's homepage.
  • Any false declarations may lead to disqualification at any stage of the admission process.

Method of Registration for FUTMINNA Post UTME

  • A non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 should be paid via the REMITA platform.

Steps for Registration

  1. Visit the FUTMINNA Application Page:
  2. Login Process:
    • Enter your JAMB registration number and one of your names.
    • Click on ‘Login’.
  3. Upload Results:
    • Upload your 'O' Level results.
    • Direct Entry candidates should upload their higher-level results.
  4. Course Selection:
    • Choose an alternative course if your UTME/O' Level subject combinations do not meet the requirements for the initially registered course.
  5. Payment Process:
    • Click ‘Proceed to payment gateway’.
    • Verify your entries and click on the ‘payment link’ button to access the payment gateway.
    • Payment can be made using a Debit Card (MasterCard preferred) or Verve (online-enabled cards only) or at a bank branch (generate RRR from the application portal).
  6. Payment Confirmation:
    • Enter your ATM Debit card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2, and PIN).
    • Upon successful payment, all previously entered data will be displayed on the screen.
  7. Print Application:
    • Click the ‘Print’ button to print the application document.
