The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of Sa'adu Zungur University in Bauchi State has issued a critical warning to all students regarding the payment of fees and other financial transactions.
In a notice dated 12th January 2026, SRC President Comr. Iliyasu Umar Adamu emphasized the importance of using only approved university channels for payments. These approved channels include the school's ICT unit, recognized cafés on campus, or trusted and verified individuals known personally to the students.
The primary goal of this directive is to shield students from potential fraud and financial exploitation by unauthorized individuals. The notice clearly states that students should exercise extreme caution and take full responsibility when making any payments, as this measure is in place to protect the welfare and financial security of all students.
With a strong commitment to student safety, the SRC reinforces its stance with the tagline: 'YOUR SAFETY, OUR PRIORITY.' To avoid potential financial losses and ensure the legitimacy and security of their transactions, students are advised to strictly adhere to these guidelines.
By following these guidelines, students can significantly reduce the risk of falling victim to financial scams and ensure a safe and secure academic experience at Sa'adu Zungur University.
